Rasoul Sadrameli — Jury Member
Born in Isfahan in 1953, Rasoul Sadrameli began his career as a journalist and then won a scholarship to study sociology in France. He returned to Iran and produced Amir Ghavidel’s ‘Rain of Blood’ in 1981. A year later, Sadrameli directed his debut feature ‘The Release’, which was followed by some of Iranian film industry’s box-office hits, including ‘The Chrysanthemums’ and ‘Paizan’. His international breakthrough came with ‘The Girl In The Sneakers’, which won at film festivals like Berlin and Cairo, after which he earned more acclaim with ‘I’m Taraneh, 15’. As managing director of MILAD FILM, a film production and distribution company, he has made many documentaries for TV. Sadrameli has also served as a jury member in numerous international and national film festivals.
